Overcoming Inadmissibility

Inadmissibility may not end your dreams of coming to Canada legally. There are workable options for overcoming inadmissibility.

Criminal inadmissibility

Foreign nationals who have been arrested or convicted of a criminal offence anywhere in the world may be deemed ineligible to enter Canada legally.

Medical inadmissibility

Most foreign nationals must undergo a medical examination before entering Canada. No health condition automatically leads to inadmissibility and any health condition is assessed individually.

Sending false information to the Canadian government can result in denial of entry, refusal of applications, loss of immigration status, revocation of citizenship and prosecution.
